The Tima Collection

Lucia Almeida has been creating one of a kind jewellery and art since 1988, specializing in copper. She is a self-taught artist and has shown work in juried shows and sold to galleries and shops all over Canada under the name The TIma Collection. She began making penny jewellery in 2012 and was commissioned by The Royal Canadian Mint in 2019 to create a line for their gift shop. Her work also includes copper sheet chemical drawings as well as original artwork for images to use in her jewellery. The feedback she receives most often is how “ refreshingly different “.
