I hand select fabric ends from Canadian furniture manufacturers, which prevents waste and allows me to offer a large variety of upholstery fabric covers to match anyone’s décor style. I literally have hundreds of slips to choose from and our customers just love having so much selection. Its a wonderful gift, for the right price and with our aging population a much appreciated addition to any car, home, office or patio. Inside is a mechanism run by batteries to create the soothing and therapeutic vibration which boosts circulation, loosens muscles and offers a lovely sensory experience. I have a large autistic clientele using my Comfee Cushions as a sensory tool. Who wouldn’t love “massage on demand!” It’s function meets beauty! I cut, sew and assemble my covers at my studio with the help of my Aunt Rose!
Comfee cushion is upcycled from fabric scraps/ends from local Canadian furniture manufacturers. I also use bioplush upholstery foam, which is 40% soy oil from Canadian soy farmers and soy is a renewable resource. Comfee cushions are sustainable and local. I import the mechanical device from a medical supplier overseas. That supplier is the only producer globally of this piece. Batteries are sourced locally in Ontario from Panasonic.
