George’s Wood Turning

My husband George and I started turning pens on a lathe during Covid. We both work in a restaurant and were not able to go to work with all the shut downs. It started as a fun hobby and we would give them to our friends and family. We created pens made from different materials, special types of wood and resins. We both enjoyed the craft so much and ran out of people to give things to so we opened an Etsy shop. We started to create more different products such as darts, pepper grinders, ice cream scoops, crochet hooks, seam rippers etc. When markets were finally able to start again we figured we would try them which we really love doing. It’s greet to meet so many people and have them love our products.
We have had a few bumps in the road such as losing everything in the Hernders craft show fire, but we were able to recover and rebuild. We enjoy creating so much that nothing will stop us!
