Our farm is located in the beautiful town of Lucknow ON. We farm 600 breeding ewes of four breeds. Dorset, Ile De France, Suffolk and Southdowns. We shear the ewes yearly sometimes twice yearly depending on the breed. We use the high quality fleeces for our beautiful handcrafted wool products that you will find on our online store as well as at this Christmas market. The lower grade fleeces or belly wool goes towards our garden wool pellets. So nothing is wasted and the ewes feel great after they are shorn. It is a win win!!
We offer 100% natural wool blankets that are woven at MacAusland’s Woollen mill of the province of PEI. The wool used for the blankets all comes from our favourite ewes here on the farm. Our crochet critters are handcrafted and created by Becky. The dryer balls and needle felted Christmas ornaments are handcrafted and created by Laura.
