Our desire is to bring out the natural beauty of Canadian Maple Wood. We strive to make beautiful, lightweight jewelry that people will enjoy wearing.
Both Peter and Shoko enjoy and appreciate nature. They want to inspire others to appreciate it as well.
Peter has worked with wood for over 60 years and Shoko has been a lifelong artist. For his craft, he cuts and shapes the pieces to the desired shape and size. Paints and stains are used to decorate and bring out the natural grain of the wood. Shoko paints all the flowers and nature inspired themes by hand. The pieces are then varnished and the accessories (e.g. chains, etc.) are attached.
They have been married for 60 years and have been creating their jeweler together for over 30. Their daughter, Mary, occasionally helps with organizing applications and printing material.
The prices range from $15 – $60.
